Propulsion wins UET Trotting Masters final

Propulsion, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, won the UET Trotting Masters final at Ôstersund in Sweden Sunday afternoon (Sept. 16) and the winner’s purse of $220,000 brought his winnings in 2018 up to $1,150,876 -- the most any Standardbred has won in the world in 2018.
Dream Together upsets in Joie De Vie

Propulsion defeats Readly Express in Aby Stora Pris

Two of the best trotters in the world invited the audience to a great show in Åby Stora Pris at Åby racetrack, Mölndal, Sweden on Saturday afternoon.
American bred Propulsion (Muscle Hill) and Swedish star Readly Express (Ready Cash) were the two main combatants in the race, which had new structure and shape this year. Instead of two heat races over the mile, Åby Stora Pris is now one race over 3,140 meters, approximately 1.9 miles where the winner was offered $220,000.

Propulsion wins Aabergs Memorial in impressive style

The 7-year-old trotter Propulsion became the first ever to win the prestigious Aabergs Memorial at Jägersro in Sweden three times in a row.
Propulsion, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström and trained by Daniel Redén, had to trot three-wide the whole last lap but he still was able to win comfortably in 1:51.3f followed by French trotter Up And Quick driven by Björn Goop.
Hat Trick Habit headed to the 2018 Hambletonian
Hat Trick Habit bc 3, 1:52.3m ($205,054) Donato Hanover - Habits Best . Bred, born, raised and sold by Cane Run Farm. In the first elimination Hat Trick habit leaves from post position 8. Owned by John McGill and Brian Carsey, trained by Scott DiDomenico and driven by Andy Miller, Hat Trick Habit is 6-2-2 for 17 starts in 2018. Best of luck to all of his connections.
Hat Trick Habit is a half-brother to the exported Habit (H) 3, 1:53f ($1,262,221) and a brother to Winning Habit 2, Q1:59.4s. The son of Conway Hall finished 3rd in a NYSS event at Saratoga on July 31.
Cane Run Farm will sell the full sister to Hat Trick Habit, Creature Of Habit in Lexington this fall.

The Årjängs Stora Sprinterlopp for elite trotters was held in Sweden on Saturday afternoon and heavy favorite Propulsion was outstanding in the mile race.
Propulsion started from post position 7 and there were a couple of very fast horses from the inside, so there was excitement before the race started.

Hat Trick Habit made his one chance at a first impression count.
The 3-year-old male trotter debuted for new owners John McGill and Brian Carsey and trainer Scott DiDomenico last weekend with a career-best 1:52.3 win at the Meadowlands Racetrack and could further stamp himself as a Hambletonian Stakes contender with another solid effort in Saturday’s Stanley Dancer Memorial at the Big M.
Golden Mischief scores fifth career stakes victory

Golden Mischief rolled to a five-length victory in the $100,000 Saylorville S. on July 5 at Prairie Meadows to give the 4-year-old Into Mischief filly her first stakes win of 2018 and fifth overall.
Propulsion wins Norrbottens Grand Prix for third time

On Saturday (June 16), 11,090 fans witnessed Propulsion, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, winning the Norrbottens Grand Prix with a purse for the winner of $1 million Swedish kroner (or $114,000) for the third time in a row.
Hat Trick Habit rolls into Goodtimes

Trainer Domenico Cecere didn't have to rebuild Hat Trick Habit, just tinker with some equipment, but like television's "Six Million Dollar Man," the horse has come back better than he was before. Better, stronger, faster.
And the colt wasn't too bad to begin with.

Bred and sold by Cane Run Farm and Bluestone Farms, Propulsion finished second to Ringostar Treb in this year's version of the Elitloppet. A full brother to Propulsion sells at the Lexington Select Yearling sale in the Cane Run Consignment this fall.

Propulsion was today invited to Elitloppet when Solvallas sports director Anders Malmrot surprised the coach Daniel Redén with a visit at the farm in Bålsta, outside of Stockholm. "Propulsion is the fastest in Europe, he was second in the Elitloppet ifjol and has competed for a long time in the World Cup. To me he is given in the Elitlopp in 2018, says Anders Malmrot.

A Tiznow colt was purchased by a pinhooking partnership Feb. 6 for $260,000 to top all short yearlings sold during the Fasig-Tipton winter mixed sale.Glenn Brok of Brook Ledge Horse Transportation signed on behalf of Jack Johnston for the colt, a March 13, 2017 foal consigned as Hip 419 by Blake-Albina Thoroughbred Services as agent for C & S. Bred in Kentucky by Fredericka V. Caldwell and Mitchel Skolnick.
